What kind of wax is used in KERTI candles?
We use a 100% soy wax with no additives and cotton wicks which are all lead free.
Can we buy a KERTI gift voucher for someone?
Yes you can. Please contact us here.
What areas do you service?
We are located in Sydney and service the greater Sydney area. If you are located in another state or outside the greater Sydney area please give us a call as we would love to still work with you.
Do you have an online store?
No we dont have an online store, all our candles are custom made for each client.We have a range of vessels available for you to choose from based on your style. We can also customise the colour of the wax and scent to suit.
How long will a KERTI candle burn for?
Each of our candles are custom made which means they vary in sizes and burning times.
As a general rule
Small 100ml | 20 hours
Medium 230ml | 50 hours
Large 350ml | 55 hours
Extra large 500ml | 60+ hours
If you have specific requirements dont hesitate to give us a call and we can talk through the various options.
Why isn't my candle burning all the way to the edges?
This is called ‘tunneling’ which can be caused by a number of shorter burn times in the beginning where the wax doesn’t melt all the way to the edge.
To prevent this you should burn the candle until the wax is uniformly melted across the top. Please be careful and never burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

All our candles are made in Sydney, Australia
Are KERTI candles hand-poured?
Yes all our candles are all hand-poured in Sydney.

We are super nice and dont bite….so its as easy as:
- Drop us a line or email and we can have a quick chat
- Who doesn’t love coffee, tea or hot chocolate whilst we discuss your special day
- We will curate an obligation free quote for you to mull over with a wine or two
Why a candle as a bomboneri?
Giving your guest a candle that they can burn after your special day will make them relive what an amazing time they had and also will make their house smell nice. Everytime they burn that candle it will bring back memories.
I have my own vessels, can you turn these into candles?
Absolutely – there is nothing better than up-cycling your vessels, and this will save you on costs too. Get in contact with us so we can put together a personalised quote.
What other ways can candles be used for our wedding?
We specialise in carefully curated candles, so we can produce anything your imagination can come up with. Many of our clients will use candles to decorate the ceremony and reception space, you could have hundreds of candles burning bright.
Working closely with you or your stylist we will come up with a custom solution that works for your ceremony or reception.

Will KERTI work with my stylist?
Yes, many of our client hire a wedding stylist.
We will work closely with your wedding stylist but will always check back in with you to ensure the final product is just what your after.
Do you support same sex marriages?
Yes we support ALL marriages.
Will KERTI deliver my candles?
We are committed to ensuring you dont have to worry about a thing on your special day. Please get in contact with us so we can discuss your requirements.
We are happy to travel and also deliver interstate.
Will all venues allow an open flame?
Its important to now that not all venues will allow an open flame, we recommend that you check with your venue prior to booking.
Can KERTI brand any candles?
Yes, we will work with you from inception to delivery to come up with a product that fits with in your brand style.
Do you offer packaging solutions?
We like to think of ourselves as being ‘full service’.
We make the candles but we can pull the entire concept together for you including any packaging or print requirements. We have 10+ years of experience working with creative agencies and in-house designers.
We can also work with your suppliers or if you dont have the ones needed we have a large network that we regularly use.
Will KERTI work with our existing suppliers?
Absolutely – we know how important these relationships are. We have 10+ years of experience in working with large and small creative agencies, printers, packaging houses and in-house graphic and web designers.
We are a sustainable business, will KERTI provide products that are sustainable?
Yes, we will work with you to understand what your corporate requirements are.
